Vitamin D, Skin Colour & Covid-19

Vitamin D Sunshine is the primary source of Vitamin D3 ( over 90 % ). Direct sun exposure to skin between 10 AM and 3PM produces Vitamin D3. This is not produced by sunlight through glass of a window. Dietary Vitamin D2 can be increased through consumption of oily fish, egg yolk and fortified milk. Baking Fish preserves its Vitamin D content but frying it reduced it by over 50 %. Vitamin D3 deficiency is usually asymptomatic. In children this can manifest as delayed walking, bow legs or recurrent infections. Adults may get aches, pains, tiredness and other non specific symptoms.
